Gomax® flexible hoses are engineered to replace rigid copper tubing in industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. They help absorb vibration, simplify routing and enable quick installation with no welding or brazing.
Quadra HPSteel extends this approach to the demanding pressure and temperature conditions of CO2 (R744) systems, enabling flexible connections across a wider range of applications:
- Pressure gauges & switches
- Oil return lines
- Suction & discharge lines
- Subcritical & transcritical units
Quadra HPSteel can be installed directly on the compressor discharge and suction lines, becoming an integral part of the refrigeration circuit.
By replacing rigid copper tubing with Quadra HPSteel, the compressor can be virtually isolated from the rest of the system, avoiding the transmission of vibrations to other components.

Quadra HPSteel is available exclusively as factory-made hose assemblies, supplied in bundles of 10 pieces. Each assembly can be configured according to specific installation requirements in terms of hose length and fitting combination.

Straight female / straight female
The first three letters of the part number identify the fitting configuration, while the last three digits (XXX) indicate the total hose length in cm, available in multiples of 10 cm (3.94 in). Standard hose color is black.

Tested for the conditions of CO2 (R744) systems.

Thermal conditioning
The inner-tube polymer was subjected to thermal conditioning at 150 °C, with no signs of mechanical degradation.
Oil compatibility
Dimensional stability was assessed after extended immersion in POE and PAG oils used in R744 systems, confirming the material’s compatibility.
Impulse testing
The DN6 hose, bent to its minimum bend radius, was tested with oil at 150 °C and pressure-cycled at 1 Hz and 143 bar, successfully exceeding 250,000 cycles.
Corrosion resistance
A salt spray test, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9227, showed that zinc-nickel-plated fittings resist oxidation for more than twice the exposure time of standard zinc-plated fittings.
